What Does A "!" Mean Next To Audio Tracks?

If you see an exclamation point "!" next to some audio tracks, don't worry. After a software update, your clock sometimes re-downloads or reformats tracks in the background to keep sounds playing smoothly — the "!" marks the tracks that are still downloading.

Please allow your clock a little time to finish. Depending on your WiFi speed, this can take a few hours. Thanks to background downloading you can keep using the rest of your clock, as well as any tracks that have already finished. Bluetooth playback is unavailable until the download process is done.

All the alarms and the basic Brown Noise track are available right away. As other tracks finish downloading, the "!" disappears and you'll be able to listen.

While it downloads, keep your Loftie plugged in and connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Playing other audio pauses background downloading; it resumes when audio stops.

If your clock has not finished downloading all of the content in the next 24 hours, please write us at support@loftie.com and we'd be more than happy to help get everything working properly.
