Loftie makes lovely things for your nightstand, so your phone can sleep somewhere else.

Hi, Matthew here.
Most of what’s on your phone was built to hold your attention for as long as possible. It’s very good at it. I noticed it most at night, when I should have been sleeping, and in the morning, before I’d decided anything about my day.
Thoreau wrote that the cost of a thing is the amount of life you exchange for it. Loftie is my attempt to make that trade a little fairer. Our clock does the one job that belonged on your nightstand, and none of the others.
Put your phone down. See what the evening turns into.
Sleep well,

What We Believe
Technology is a tool, not a destination.
Your phone is great at plenty of things. Being the last thing you see at night isn’t one of them.
Things you live with should be nice to look at.
A nightstand is a small, personal place. Whatever goes on it should look good there, and be easy to use when you’re half asleep.
Do one thing, and do it really well.
The clock wakes you up gently, helps you wind down, and plays something calm in between.
Privacy is a feature.
Your bedroom stays yours. Loftie doesn’t listen in.
