Henry, from Loftie

Meet Henry.Be where you are. He'll keep track of the rest.

Tell Henry the thing you're trying not to forget, then put the phone down. He keeps it, sorts it, and brings it back when it matters — so you can be in the room without feeling like something's slipping.

Tell Henry the thing you're trying not to forget, then put the phone down. He keeps it, sorts it, and brings it back when it matters.

Henry is part of Loftie, alongside the Clock, Lamp, Flip, Rest and the Loftie Card. Tools for putting the phone down and getting your life back.

Henry isn't here to chat. He's here so you can stop thinking about it.

Every other assistant wants more of your attention. Henry wants less. He is not someone to hang out with, and he will not chat. Say the thing once; he answers in a line or less, does the one job, and goes quiet. Try the same thought both ways.

Tell him

Listening: the two lights part to make room.

Say it, or text it. However it lands in your head, hand it to Henry.

He keeps it

Resting: a slow breath while he holds it.

Off your mind. Sorted into your list, ideas or dreams, instead of seven different notes apps.

He brings it back

Speaking: they come together, brighter.

At the right moment. One notification, in his words, when you said. Then it's gone again.

What you've told him

Every fact he's holding, in plain sight. Fix it, delete it, or ask him about it.

On Sunday, he helps you let go.

Every Sunday, Henry shows you what's sat for a couple of weeks and asks what still matters. Keep what counts. The rest quietly goes. Your open loops don't pile up into a second job.

Sunday, 10:00. A few things have sat a while. Want me to let any go?

Letting something go takes it off your lists. He still knows it if you ask.

Only what you hand him. And nothing you'd regret.

Henry knows what you tell him. Nothing scraped from your life, nothing sold on. He doesn't keep health details. He isn't a doctor or a therapist, and if you're in danger he gives you the numbers for real people, fast.

Henry. One thing, in his words, when you said.

Henry uses Claude, by Anthropic, to sort what you send. It isn't used to train their AI.

Never harvested.

He runs on what you say, and only that.

Guardrails by design.

Hold things, bring them back, stay quiet otherwise.

Yours to clear.

See everything he's holding, and wipe any of it, whenever you want.

Henry David Thoreau · Walden, 1854

In 1845, Henry David Thoreau walked into the woods at Walden Pond to live deliberately — to keep only what mattered and let the rest go. We named our assistant after him because we wanted one built on the same idea: technology that gives you your time back instead of asking for more of it.

Where does he live?

In the Loftie app, as his own tab next to your Clock and Lamp. iPhone and Android. Place reminders are iPhone only for now.

Can I send him things without opening the app?

Yes. Save Henry to your contacts and then email or text him like anyone else. Whatever you send lands with everything else, sorted.

Can I talk to him?

Yes. Tap the mic in the app and say it. It's turned into text on your phone, so typed or said both work. Voice memos sent by text or email aren't understood yet.
