Who Henry is
In 1845, a man named Henry David Thoreau built a cabin by a pond. It was ten feet wide and fifteen feet long. He moved in to find out how little he really needed.
He wrote: “Our life is frittered away by detail… Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity!” He meant that we lose our lives to small stuff.
He never saw a phone. We named an AI after him anyway.
What he actually does

You put it down. He keeps it.
Whatever is stuck in your head. The thing you keep meaning to do. The thing you keep turning over at night. There is no filing. No tags. No title. No folder to pick. You type it and it is out of your head. That was the only job that mattered.

He shows you almost none of it back.
Most notes apps are a pile that only grows. Henry works the other way round. A few things come up this week. The rest goes away. Away does not mean deleted. Ask for any of it and it comes right back. You should be carrying less, not saving more.
